For years, I have been attending healthcare conferences. I assume that many of the people reading this have as well. These have been wonderful forums for me to meet clients and catch up with them about what has been going on at their health plan. My only complaint? I never have enough time! I have been in Client Services at Hayes for more than 10 years and my favorite part of the job is building the relationship with our customers. But I find that I always leave conferences wishing I’d had more opportunities to talk to them and, even more importantly, listen.
As we worked on our strategic plans for 2016, we talked about the conference circuit. We kept circling back to the fact that we don’t get to really network with clients as we would like to when we attend conferences. We also talked about the feedback we’ve received for years from clients, asking if we would host our own conference. Taking all of this into account coupled with a product roadmap for 2016, we had to ask ourselves, “Why not now?”
And so last week, Hayes opened registration for our inaugural Hayes Client Symposium! The sessions range from genetic testing to specialty pharmaceuticals. Our guest speakers for the event include top executives from a variety of healthcare areas. And since we know how important education is to our clients, we are offering credits for three of the sessions. We also know the value of networking with colleagues and clients, which is why we have closed the event to sponsors and vendors.
The symposium is scheduled for September 22-23, 2016, at the Sheraton Philadelphia Society Hill Hotel (Philadelphia, PA). We have decided to cap the event at 100 attendees to keep it a more intimate setting for our first symposium. I am thrilled to announce that the response rate has been fabulous in week one—we have sold over a quarter of the seats already!
Clients can login here to check out the agenda and register. This is going to be an event filled with information, networking, and opportunities to learn how to maximize all Hayes has to offer. I can’t wait to see you there!
